My station

My antenna

A 135-foot wire, a 49:1 UNUN and a tree in the backyard. It does not take much to enjoy ham radio.

A wire up to the tree

As soon as I moved into my new home in St. Louis, I decided the best option was to run a wire up to one of the trees in the backyard.

The photos below are of my second antenna. The one I use now is identical and runs west to east; the new one will run north to south.

This 49:1 UNUN was built by Emigdio, WA3RF. Many thanks, Emigdio, for your time!
